Geocache Description:

Update 8/20/2022: BriGuyNY reached his 30,000K caching milestone today at his LHG Picnic in Peekskill event so I am updating the title of this cache with an extra zero. Congrats Brian! This cache was placed in May, prior to BriGuyNY's 3K find. It is being published now, since he has gotten to 3K finds. Congrats! To all cachers, give BriGuyNY a fair shot at FTF, please observe this request!

BriGuyNY, who probably is near the top in terms of hides and finds in the Lower Hudson geocaching area, has probably made the biggest impact on our area of geocaching during the course of the past year. Where do we begin? Hudson Highlights, Corporate Ca$hes, JOEs, and the famous OCATT just to name a few. Also one of the most experienced cachers in the area, with over 3300 finds when this cache was published. In addition, the co-founder of the LoHud Geocachers is also one of the nicest cachers you will meet, and will give a hint on his caches when you need it! The OCATT trail was dedicated to cachers individually along the Lower Hudson, so who wouldn't like a cache with their name on it! Of course, you deserve one too!

Guess this makes a big milestone, with 3,000 finds in 3 years! But it's safe to say that 4,000 and the rest will be found soon enough! Thanks for your contributions to the geocaching community BriGuyNY! Cache on!

This cache is hidden in Blue Mountain, and hidden inside a small cave-like rock formation. It's recommended that you bring bug spray, or be prepared for some critters in the warmer weather, but it should be accessible in winter too. It's a ziploc-box container with a few trade goods, and makes a decent hike in the beginning of Blue Mountain! It has steeper terrain, so some good caching shoes are reccommended. Enjoy, and have fun everyone at the 2011 First Lower Hudson Geocachers event in Blue Mountain- Picnic in Peekskill! Sorry I can't attend, but I'm looking forward to our next gathering! Cache on everyone!
