Geocache Description:

[ENG] Me and my friends went to island Aegna to walk around and celebrate a birthday. As friend Vaim (Ghost) fell a victim to barbed wire and was taken to the mainland to hospital by border guard`s speed boat, I decided to dedicate this cache to her.

Aegna Island (area 2.9 square km) is situated in the northeastern part of Tallinn Bay, northwest of Rohuneeme. Aegna Island has no permanent inhabitants. However, it has a ferry connection with Tallinn and it is used as a recreation area; the daily number of visitors may reach a few hundred in the summer. Early this century, large fortifications were built on Aegna Island. The island is covered by forest. (visit link)

Nearby the cache there are big boulders and on one of them is memorial tablet dedicated to two soldiers, who died by a granade, that suddenly exploded.
[EST] Sõpruskond käis Aegna saarel tuuritamas. Kuna sõber Vaim langes salakavala okastraadi läbi ning viidi lausa piirivalve kaatriga mandrile traumapunkti, siis küpses otsus talle saarel aare pühendada.

Saarel asub 30 hoonet, 24 kaitsealust rändrahnu, mitmeid kinnismälestisi, peamiselt kaitserajatised ning vana kalmistu. On kaks supelranda, kus asuvad ka telkimis-lõkkekohad, Looduskeskus ning kolme erineva marsuudiga loodusrada.

Aarde läheduses on kivikülv ning Rebasekivi, mille nimetus tuleneb selle külge 1931. aastal kinnitatud mälestustahvlist, kus kirjas: leitn. Johannes Rebas ja rms. Reinhold Rebase - 16.X 1931 - enneaegsel käsigranaadi lõhkemisel.
