How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The above coordinates ARE the location of the cache. However, to log this cache as a find you must meet the “Challenge” requirements documented below.

The task is simple to have found 60 “DIFFERENT” attributes on 60 “DIFFERENT” caches. (There is no restriction to when you found these 60 caches) These attributes MUST be in the POSITIVE. NO Red X through them will count. We have not bothered to include the 'needs maintenance' attribute and Specials attributes of Lost & Found Cache or Partnership Cache.
We have also not included Wireless Beacon or Cross County Ski's as there is next to none of these in WA.

But all other attributes are required in the categories of Permissions (9), Equipment (9), Conditions (23), Hazards (8) and Facilities (11).

As this is a challenge cache you are required to send your list of caches with the relevant attribute next to it, by email to us, (all we need is the GC number and the attribute you are claiming for each individual cache) prior to being given permission to log your find. So whilst you may physically find and sign the log (which you have to do at some point), no smilies can be logged until your list is acknowledged by us.

We will ensure we acknowledge the emails in order of receipt to maintain the integrity of the hunt, and order of finds including rights to the FTF claim.

We have constructed an Excel spreadsheet with the attributes listed if you would like a copy to start your list, send us an email and we will send it to you. OR You can carry out a check on Project GC to see if you qualify.

Happy Caching from D&D, FelixII.

These are the specific 60 attributes required!

Congratulations to Chwiliwr on being FTF and Everlasting for STF

No surprises there I guess

With effect 23rd August 2014

Thanks for hunting for our cache. Please remember that there are only really 2 major rules in Geocaching. 1)You 'must' sign the log or leave your mark on the logbook and 2) then log online. Please do not log online if you have not signed the logbook, deletion of your online log may cause you embarassment! Remember to carry a pen or 3 with you at all times, or if desperate try resorting to charcoal as some ingenious previous finders have done. If really desperate email us with your sad tale and we will consider your 'evidence' in a private message to us. NO SPOILERS to be posted here.
