Grandad' Cache
This cache is an addition to our series of special events and special people in our lives and has been place in loving memory of Alan Spiby who sadly passed away on the 12th October 2012. The location of the cache is significant because Alan spent many happy days at Kendal cricket club and was a well known face at the club.
Still the proud holder of the record for the most wickets in a season, his ashes were even scattered on the grounds of the club in his memory. He left behind a loving wife, myself his son and my sister his daughter as well as 3 special grandchildren, Hayden, Jessica and Sophie.
And so we place this cache to remember him and his cheeky grin.
You are looking for a well camouflaged cache between 3-4 feet above ground in the wall. There's no room for a pen so you'll need to bring one with you.
