Geocache Description:

A fun multi cache set in the south part of Upton Heath with the kind permission of the Dorset Wildlife Trust and Natural Habitats Office of BoP.

Finding the first stage may be easy however you must solve the 'puzzle' to collect the co-ordinates for the actual cache hide. It is certainly easier with two or more people, however it can be solved by one, although it'll take you a little longer( and certainly more energy!). Those in wheelchairs will need help with this stage however it is possible from here to get all the way to the cache hide easily - although help will be required to retrieve the box.
When you see stage one, it is obvious what you need to do - I have left a few items to help you behind the post ! Please leave this stage in the way it has been found (or should be found) with the water removed ( by pulling out the cork ) and the additional 2 items behind and hidden under leaves (??!!!). Please ensure the film canister is fully sealed up and the contents also fully protected.
This stage one may occasionally need some maintenance due to the way it has been constructed. Please feel free to email me with the current state of the tube so I can keep it in tiptop condition. Obviously there is an easier way to remove the cache but try not to be tempted!
The main cache is in a beautiful area on the heath. Please take care and stay on the path to not destroy any habitats.
I hope you have fun with this - been advised by my French friend who has one where they live which is very popular. Feel free to take photos of your antics and post them as it will not deter from the fun! Good Luck !!

Until further notice - inaccessible by wheelchair as wrong lock on gate . Will approach relevant person to rectify situation !
Update : awaiting RADAR lock to open gate - there for not accessible at present- sorry

Thank you thank you thank you Alex.May for constructing a new pipe for me as otherwise this would have been out of action far longer. The new design is far superior to the original design and should stand the test of time too. Alex does warn you to keep your feet out the way when taking the cork out !! You'll see why when tried!!! Goodluck

26.10.10 replaced bung and scoop again. Please put back behind post upside down with bung under for next person
Nb Between Water torture stage 1 and Chinese takeaway : there is a really nice den that looks quite permanent ... worth a look

Nb: barbed wire near to stage 1 - please take care
