Well, I needed something to do so I took a stroll after work and here is another cache for you.
Stroll on up the hill and look down on the river. I watched several deer, and more after each draw, running off as I strolled in. There where lots of birds roosting in the rock bluffs so watch out for "bombs". Be careful of the cacti and beggers tacks and rattelsnakes and ticks and slick grass and rolling rocks and cow pies. Watch your footing if you get close to the North slope. As of 06-12-02, your looking for a camo colored ammo can with several items in it. I had some poor sat coverage where I was taking my readings from but you need an elevation of 1708 feet. If you come up from the road, try parking at the end of the guard rail. If your a ridge runner, try parking in the big wide spot at the rockpit. Either way, It will take you somewhere around an hour to get in. In the summer, take some water or some sort of fluid to drink. Enjoy ( I hope).
