ruck: Made the trip down to replace the cache, but A Line is currently closed to Public motorized transportation and although I did have the mtn bike with me, wasn't up to the 10 miles and 2,500' climb. Archiving, but if location is not claimed by someone else prior to my next trip, I'll try to un-archive this one.

Geocache Description:

Located at the former site of the K O Point Fire Lookout.

At an elevation of ~2,900' in the Willipa Hills, there used to be a cabin here back in the 40's, that was replaced by a 20' live-in tower around 1962. Both are now gone with only a couple foundation blocks remaining. As with many former lookout sites, the fire towers have been replaced with cell towers.

As for the cache, your searching for a small lock-n-lock resting behind one of the old foundation blocks. You can drive all but the last 3/4 mile, which is behind a red dot gate, and open to foot traffic only.
