Geocache Description:

This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

The Strathalbyn Primitive Methodist circuit included churchs at Strathalbyn, Langhorne's Creek, Belvidere, Angas Plains, and Woodchester. The Woodchester church constructed from stone and brick was built in 1863 and closed by 1956.  The building is now a private residence. A concealed cat mummy was found in the building during renovations.  The practice of concealing cats in voids in buildings is known to have taken place in the United Kingdom and Europe for more five centuries. Concealed cats in both Australia and in the United Kingdom may be “posed” so that they appear about to spring.

Using the four digit street number ABCD at the front of the building you can determine the location of the geocache.
