I discovered this trail while visiting here. Having spoken to the staff, I learned that it is free and open to the public. Immediately, I expressed my interest in placing a geocache or two along the path so that others could learn more about the area and its nearby facilities. The staff was happy to grant permission and so I set about planning something different than my usual hides. A trail this pretty needed some special hides.
I commissioned some L Frank containers and he came through with just what I wanted. He was even kind enough to place them along the trail after we had reviewed the area again to ensure I had some good places picked out.
