Cache is a 1L clip and seal type container placed along the route of St Cuthbert's Way, near the village of Bowden.
The cache site is on the long-distance footpath of St Cuthberts Way. This 100km walking route takes pilgrims from the coast at Holy Island, through Northumberland and the Borders, ending up at Melrose Abbey.
For those not feeling quite adventurous enough to attempt the entire route, plenty of parking is available in the village of Bowden, from where it is a short walk to the cache site.
Initial contents of the cache are the usual selection of small gifts and toys, but there is plenty of space for TBs and coins.
