Geocache Description:

Lock and Lock hidden in a very pretty nature area on a walking trail. Place with permission from: Ione Werthman, President (RIP 2/11/2016), Heron Haven Wetland Sanctuary. Office: (402)-493-4303

Placed by: brody2 (Adopted by: MD71, MacFive and now ButNowImFound) Heron Haven Wetland is one of the last remaining oxbows of the Big Papillion creek. It is a natural, spring-fed wetland located within the Omaha city limits. Several natural springs feed the various ponds and marsh located in this 25 acre preserve. This constant fresh water creates a special habitat of a wetland. NOTE: no pets allowed, not even leashed. Hours are posted PPS: There is a path. You shouldn't need to "break brush". I added the name of the area it is, but keeping the original name of the cache. There is an earth cache, and a Munzee in this wetland.
