Geocache Description:

*** OLD YELLAR ***

Please replace the cache exactly as you found it. Bring Your Own Pencil. The logbook must be signed, otherwise there is no proof of your success.

Big and old is this standing yellow birch tree. Your journey will take you along a short trail which you will see is the “Canoe Takeout” for the Black River.” Then you will take a short bushwack to this straight and tall “Old Yellar.”

The ground may be damp in the spring with the snow melt. This is not a winter friendly cache, unless you can easily identify this large Yellow Birch tree.
