This is the first of six superhero caches placed in Rolfs Park for the 2019 West Bend Cache Ba$h. THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. The coordinates shown are for the location of the first waypoint of this two-stage field puzzle (see trail map). You'll need to visit stage one to determine the coordinates for the final stage. It's an easy puzzle but a geochecker is provided below.
ROLFS PARK
Rolfs Park features two parks in one – a 10 acre fenced-in off leash dog park, and the 30 acre Rolfs Nature Preserve (dogs not allowed in the nature preserve). All of the caches here are located in the nature preserve, not in the dog park. The parking lot is located just off of 18th Avenue at N43° 24.325 W88° 12.120. See below for a trail map showing placement of all six superhero caches and parking location. Total hiking distance for all six is approximately 1.2 to 1.5 miles round trip from the parking lot, depending on your route. Suggested route is to start with this cache and go in a counter-clockwise direction along the trails to find them. The trailhead for entrance into the nature preserve portion of the park is just past the end of the parking lot at N43° 24.332 W88° 12.157, heading north.

You don't need to look at the following graphic but it's presented for those who may not be familiar with the characters:
The Incredibles first appeared in the animated superhero film released by Walt Disney Pictures in 2004. Set in an alternate version of the 1960s, the film follows the Parrs, a family of superheroes who hide their powers in accordance with a government mandate. They attempt to live a quiet suburban life but the family is constantly drawn into confronting evil and rescuing citizens. The movie was followed by a well-received sequel in 2018.
RECEPTION
The Incredibles received widespread approval from critics and audiences, winning two Academy Awards and the Annie Award for Best Animated Feature. It was the first entirely animated film to win the prestigious Hugo Award for Best Dramatic Presentation.
Joe Morgenstern of The Wall Street Journal called The Incredibles the year's best picture. Entertainment Weekly included the film on its list of the 25 greatest action films ever and no. 7 on its list of the 20 best animated movies ever. In 2012, film critic Matt Zoller Seitz declared The Incredibles as the greatest superhero film he has ever seen: "That thing works as a James Bond spoof; a meditation on identities, secret and otherwise; a domestic comedy; a statement on exceptionalism vs. mediocrity, and the perils of the nanny state… And yet it all hangs together. No part feels perfunctory or stupid. It’s all deeply felt." He would also later name the film as the "greatest action movie of the aughts.”
We hope you enjoy the cache as well as the movie!
