Pretty easy cache a bit off the exit. Be very careful if the ground is wet. I changed this out for an ammo can on 13 May 2012. This should hold up for a while now.
This is the desert. It doesn't get more desert than this. To the northwest of this location you can see the Silver Island mountains across the expansive Bonneville Salt Flats. To the north you can see the Newfoundland mountains and to the south the Dugway mountains in the distance. In the area between these mountains you could easily fit the entire state of Rhode Island which has a poulation of over 1 million people. There is a good chance that excluding the cars on the freeway and a few possibly riding 4 wheelers at Knolls, the only population in this area while you are at the cache, are the people in your geocaching group.
