Split Rock Lighthouse State Park will host a special deer hunt as part of our overall resource management program. On November 8-23, areas of the park will be open to permitted hunting. The park will remain open to public use but you should plan on wearing bright orange while you are searching for a geocache.
This fantastic cache will take you on a 2.2 mile round trip that includes views of Lake Superior and the historic Split Rock Lighthouse and travels along the beach, through the woods and onto rocky outcroppings marked with glacial striations. Full trip will take 45 minutes to 1 hour.
NOTE: Listed waypoints are to the final cache - take note of the additional waypoints to get the full experience!!
