Join us for an old fashioned western hoedown. If you ever wanted to play a character in the Wild West then this event is for you!

Welcome to the Wild West geocaching event.
Travel back in time to 1852 and join us for an old fashioned hoedown at Upper Stevens Creek Park in Cupertino at the Sycamore Group Picnic site. Grab your cowboy hat, pull on your jeans, clamp on your spurs, and hoist your feedbag! Join in an impromptu line dance or two.

The Soggy Log Saloon featuring Tied House Amber Ale awaits you.

MOVIE:
This picnic was inspired by the movie called The Good, the Bad, and the Geocache (GC13364)

  • Spicy Pecan Nibbles
  • Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
  • Potato and pasta salads
  • Brighten up a chicken or turkey salad by adding big chunks of peaches or apricots
  • Greens go great with papaya or mango strips; top with an herb vinaigrette or fruit flavoured yogurt dressing.
  • Tuck favourite sandwich fillings into Italian focaccia bread; layer with strips of cheese and tomato slices, sprinkle with fresh herbs and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

It costs $6 to enter the park. The only place you can buy a pass is here: N 37° 18.410 W 122° 04.431 Buy your ticket at the self help kiosk and find a cache (GCMGTJ) while you are there. THEN and only then drive to the picnic area.
