Come out and support young Geocachers!
The Elbert County 4-H Geocaching Club look forward to meeting other geocachers in the area and talking about this fun, adventure filled game! A small discussion about Geocaching will be delivered by a 4-Her attending State Congress in July. Attendees are invited to bring information, stories, and trackables to share or send along to new places!
Attendees are invited to bring a "team" of cachers for a little 4-H Geocaching Scavenger Hunt! The prize will be a cool new geocaching container! Attendees will also sign a physical log book at the event to help out the 4-H Geocaching Club!
The event will be held at Sutton Park Trail in Elberton, Georgia at the Rotary picnic shelter from 9 am to 12 pm. We will meet and greet at the beginning with the information for the scavenger hunt given out. Teams will be released to come and go around 9:30. Teams will return and the prize will be given out at 12:00. There are many fast food restaurants in town to pick up a quick meal, but please make sure to have water bottles. Georgia in June can be hot!
***Please log will attend if you are coming!
