This is one of my favorite Neil Young compositions.
Whenever I get a new piece of audio equipment I will play this song first as there are so many tones and voices. This is Neil totally in sync with Crosby, Stills and Nash in a wonderful song of lament and love.
On the Deja Vu album cover the song is listed as three parts;
1) Down, Down Down which was written years earlier,
2) Whisky Boot Hill a brief instrumental and
3) Country Girl - just a few verses.
Why ? Well more royalties for having 3 songs - Greedy Hand, Greedy Hand !
This cache takes you to Harold West Reserve which is a sports field and the council have added an outdoor Gym in 2017. The views to the south west are pretty good and a long way out there are the Riverina towns of Griffith and Hay where I met my Country Girl.
A bit of a stealthy / tough find when matches are playing or when training is on.
Plenty of parking.
