Inspired from the "Trenton Triad" caches by Stan&Ruth. Have you
found the Trenton Triad yet? Now you can find the Taylor Triad.
The posted coordinates are not those of the main cache but
provide a reference point which is within a mile or two of the
caches.
The Taylor Triad consists of three caches; the main cache and two
mini-caches. The main cache is in a camo plastic shoebox size box
and holds a log, and a disposable camera.
To locate the main cache one must first go to Taylor Triad Latitude
(GC1R4XX) and Taylor Triad Longitude (GCVHYK) caches.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU FIND THE LONGITUDE CACHE FIRST THEN THE
LATITUDE IF YOU ARE DOING THE ENTIRE SERIES ON THE SAME DAY.
The latitude co-ords of the main cache will be located inside in
the Latitude cache and the longitude will be posted in the
Longitude cache. Unlike most multicaches, one will receive credit
for all three caches rather than credit for one find after locating
three or four caches. Be sure to log your finds for the Longitude
and Latitude caches.
The three Geocaches involved are not necessarily intended to be
within normal walking distance of one another.
The main cache is located in a public park. Parking is available
within about 0.13 miles of the cache and easy walking on a trail to
within 160 feet of the cache.
PLEASE NOTE: There is Poison Ivy in the area. Take care when
bushwacking to the cache. Also, beware of thorns. To avoid most of
the ivy and thorns: From the closest point on the path bushwhack
east from the path until you are almost due south of the cache,
then approach the cache from the south.
I have provided a supply of trash bags in the cache so you can
participate in Cache in....trash out. Let me know in your log if
you took the last bag so that I can replenish the supply.
