TWC Geocache Club: We had a good turnout for our clean-up and we managed to bag a pick-up truck full of trash! Thanks to all who came out and helped clean up the roads around the TWC properties!

THIS IS A ROAD CLEAN-UP PROJECT AND WE WILL NOT BE WALKING THE TRAILS SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND IF YOU PLAN ON BRINGING YOUNG CHILDREN. WE HAVE FIVE AREAS THAT NEED CLEANED UP AND A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME TO GET THEM DONE SO IF YOU PLAN ON ATTENDING, PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE CAN DIVIDE UP THE AREAS AND GET A GOOD START.
Earth Day 2017 falls on Saturday, April 22, 2017 so what better day to have a CITO event? We will meet in the Prairie Shelter at 10:00AM and hopefully we will be finished up around noon.
The clean-up will involve picking up trash along the roads bordering TWC property and possibly invasive weed control (garlic mustard). We have five main areas of roads that are in need of trash pick-up so that will be our first priority.
If you plan on joining us, please post a will attend and how many. Bring gloves and appropriate clothing for the work and the weather! The club will provide drinking water.
The event itself will be a d/t of 1/1 but the actual work will be higher rated. The roads can be busy at times so keep this in mind if you plan on bringing children to the event. Any questions, please e-mail Rita at axetowax@yahoo.com
