Hitching Post Tree
A great hiking and wildlife viewing opportunity on the White Rock Trail Loop on beautiful Antelope Island. This adventure requires a State Park Entrance Fee.. Cache is located 2.75 miles ( one way) from the White Rock Trail Head where Parking IS Available.. Lone juniper Tree with a horse hitching post nearby.
Hiking, Bicycles and Horses allowed on trail.. Somewhat long gradual incline with sandy sections in spots most of the way to the cache. Antelope Island Trail Map available at Park Entrance with Paid Access Fee. Cache has just a standard log but has room for small trade items. Bring your own writing tool.. Pesky biting No-See-Ums can be a problem in season...
