Geocache Description:

A public recreation area covering 360 acres (150 ha) in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The state park sits on the western shore of Lake Gogebic, the largest inland lake in the Upper Peninsula. The land around the park is sparsely populated, and relatively flat.

This cache is located just off one of the many trails located in Sleepy Hollow State Park. Most of the trails are hard packed making a bike a great way to get to the caches in the area. Keep in mind during hunting season to be aware of hunters in the area. Hunting is allowed from September 15 until April 1st each year.

*** Be sure to carry bug spray, the mosquitos are numerous this year.
