This is a series of 9 caches along an old railway line from the
1800’s which is now a cycle path between Rickmansworth and Watford.
The whole path is roughly 3.5 miles long and can be done in stages
or shouldn’t pose a problem to do all in one go. The route will
take you over rivers, canals and along side lakes. For more info, a
quick google search will get you some background knowledge on the
track.
The whole series is railway themed with some links slightly more
tenuous than others. The containers vary from micro up to regular.
The path is popular with walkers as well as cyclists and is often
used by horse riders. The path can be very muddy in places and
there are a couple of slight gradients to negotiate.
Another short multi, or the first if you started this end. The
coordinates should take you to the turntable where you'll have to
find out the following:
How many rows are there from outside to inside? AB
How many bricks are there in the inner circle? CD
How many bricks are there in the outer circle? EF
With this info, calculate the following:
N51° 38.E (A+C) (F-E) W000° 24.(E-D-C-A) (E+C) (F-E-A-C)
This should take you a little way to the final location.
