This series is located in a part of Houston that has few of the nice trails along bayous or scenic hike and bike trails. But this utility easement / right of way showed up on my map as an irresistible clear path for a short series. Keep an eye out for future CITO’s here because, as you’ll see, lots of trash blows here from neighboring streets and the Westpark Tollway. In the meantime, feel free to bring a trash bag and perform a little personal CITO for your very own civic beautification project.
Do not expect this to be a scenic hike. If you are here on a hot day, please be aware that there is not much shade, so you’ll need to stay hydrated. But if you could use some exercise and want a few smileys along the way to provide incentive, come on down!
Each cache has its own parking coordinates. This series can be done all at once or picked off one at a time for all you streakers out there. You know who you are!
Some areas may get muddy. You may encounter some sharp or squishy trash along the way. Avoid stepping on boards as they may have nails in them. Wear good hiking shoes if possible.
Numbers 1-4 are east of Hillcroft and the rest are between Hillcroft and Fondren.
If you must cross Hillcroft on foot, please be very careful!
Parking for numbers 4-13 can be accessed from dead end streets by entering from Harwin Drive.

Bintliff
These streets do not allow access to the trail:
Hartsdale
