SGBR Trail #14 Who Dares Cache My Bridge
Shepparton Goulburn Broken River Trail
Welcome to Kamikaze Cachers Shepparton Goulburn Broken River Trail. A series of twenty one caches. Taking in some of the towns scenic river views. Starting the south of the town this series takes you for a journey begging along the banks of the Broken River then ending along the Goulburn river up the north end of the town, following a shared path along the way. (Well mostly) This series consists of five puzzles, two multi and fourteen Traditionals.
Collecting information from cards scattered along the way will help reveal the correct coordinates for the bonus rounds, and eventually lead to the final cache.
The series is designed to be walked or ridden, however its still Practical and efficient to drive along the roads nearby and walk into GZ. Please make sure you wear sturdy footwear, watch out for snakes in the warmer months and slippery footings in the wet.
As for the caches themselves, please make sure stealth is used, replace each cache exactly as you find them, Please write in the logbooks only and not on the hint cards, Also Please BYO pen, some contain pens however, others are only big enough to hold log books.
A Story First:
There once was a caching legend who had caches hidden all throughout these lands, He was known by all as a devious and cunning man, who spent many long and days riding around in his old blue warhorse, collecting treasures from far and wide. In one day alone it was said that the great and mighty legend found √3844 hidden treasures, back in those old days it was a feet not to be laughed at. He was also the proud first discoverer of 137 different treasures.
Then one day it all just stopped, the hiking boots were hung up, the batteries in the GPS left to go flat.....
For you see the caching legend had a new challenge one far greater than any he had been on before..
He was a proud father to two sons...
This is where that mans story ends, at least for now, maybe one day one of the boys will step up, replace those old batteries and follow in his fathers footsteps, or will the legend be gone forever? Who knows, only time will tell.
The cache:
This exact location is where I first began hooked to the game, the joy of finding my first cache, at the time I had no idea what I was looking for (and still don't most of the time) I think it was mainly beginners luck on this one, this hide I consider as my most challenging so far, A lot of work and time went into this cache so please replace it EXCATLY how you find it to ensure it is still there for future caches to find.
Hopefully this cache provides a bit of a challenge, Its nothing compared to the hides you will have already found along the trail.
Happy caching
