Agate Falls is a beautiful waterfall located east of Bruce Crossing, Michigan.
The Ontonagon River first flows over Bond Falls in Paulding, Michigan and then travels about 10 miles north where it then flows over Agate Falls. The site of the falls is well marked along MI-28 with parking lots on both sides of the highway.
The cache is an ammo container that is off the ground.
Keep in mind that there are two places to view the falls. There is the area at the bottom of the falls, and there is also a bridge over the falls beyond the site of the former gift shop.
***A fire destroyed the gift shop in June 2010. It is unlikely that it will be rebuilt***
