Geocache Description:

AMTG no number…. I try to make my caches as easy to find as possible. Please feel free to do any maintenance or email me with any problems. It is handicap accessible due to it being accessible from the car (last I checked). I know, I know, I know this AMTG does not have a number after it. It is different than the other AMTG caches in that it does not take you anywhere important and there is no history, questions to ponder or learning to be done. It is just a simple cache. Now for AMTG (no number after it)... The posted coordinates will take you to the cache site and it is west of I-75 and cannot be accessed from I-75! The site is the gate to my farm that was called And Miles To Go Farm (now you know where my “AMTG” comes from). This cache is easy to find and PLEASE replace so it is well hidden because sometimes vagrants hang in the area between the gate and I-75. This is where I wanted to retire and where I raised many thoroughbred horses. I spent many nights sleeping in the barn waiting for the foals to be born (no electricity or running water). I had a lot of time to think and that is, maybe, where some of the questions I ask about at my other caches came from. Now the land belongs to two outstanding men who will make it their home. Well the world turns and it is loved again. This cache is dedicated to Night Queen, Steel the Clock, Fancy Man, All That Jazz, Steel Gardenia, Fair Ball, Dark Dominion, Dark Cherokee, Queen’s Notes, Ursa Major, Crystal Strike and all those who had their hooves first touch the ground in these pastures. As Chief Joseph asked (in tribute for raising a white man's son) "give me a horse"........it was never given..... Check out the video : If you think you saw the Greatest moment in Sports History....think again...I was lucky enough to see the greatest horse in 100 years on TV. His name was Secretariat. After he died, he was found to have a heart that was 2.5 bigger than other race horses. This was due to what they now call the "heart gene". It is only carried on the X chromosome so he could not sire any colts that had what he had. The female foals carried carried the x heart gene gave birth to many winners. That is why he is know as the sire of broodmares. The video shows his final leg of the triple crown (the longest of all three...the Belmont) and his win by over 26 lengths...he ran every 1/4 mile faster than the previous! He broke the speed record on the Kentucky Derby, the Preakness and the Belmont Stakes with never a strike of the whip......his like has never been seen since. As Yoda would have said...many years later..."cry I did"....You only need to watch to the end of the race..https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zHvR7K1btQ. Not a whip was laid on him...he just ran like the champion that he was! I have ridden the wind because I have sat astride a racing thoroughbred! And I have ridden the perfect horse the Arab...
