Geocache Description:

This is at the corner of SH1 and Te Paki Road where one can get down to the Te Paki sand dunes (go sand surfing) and onto Ninety Mile Beach. There are some information boards related to the local area (Why is 90 Mile Beach not 90 miles long?) and maps of the facilities. Although it is recommended to have a Four Wheel Drive - DO NOT TRY DRIVING THE CREEK IN A NORMAL CAR - you have been warned! The cache is a magnetic micro.
