I replaced the original container which was a camoed micro pill bottle with a Camoed Small Rubbermaid container, that will accept very small tradable items, and small trackables (such as coins and small TB), thinking that maybe this size of container would bring more traffic to the cache, which is hidden at Shelbina Lake Park.
In our travels, we found Shelby County sadly lacking in caches. A visit to the bustling and beautiful Shelbina Lake Park made us determined to help fix that issue.
The park offers golf, volleyball, tennis, basketball, camping (tent and RV) and playgrounds. Park closes at 11:PM
When opening the cache container, the lid screws on and off, so please be carefull not to pry it off. Please replace cache in the same spot where you found it and hide it even better so that the next cacher will get the same caching experience or better.
Permission was granted by Danny at the Park office. Danny warned us the park is used for goose hunting, so be careful and respectful. We kept the cache away from potential danger, atleast we hope ; ).
