Time...9 to 10am
$5.00 parking fee, unless you have a park pass or a short walk into the park
Please pay attention to the "NO" parking signs
Dogs are allowed but must keep on leash..
There are some great caches in the area
Please remember to bring water and maybe a snack, hat and sunscreen...How ever long you want to stay is up to you. thank you for helping...
I have been in touch with the Park Rangers, they will have garbage bags for us to use and gloves, there are two dumpsters in the area..The only thing asked is when you are done, please do not just leave your bag on the ground or trail, please seek out the dumpsters, which should be in the parking area's, there are also trash cans around the area.
There may be some extra surprises in store to add to the fun
Please wear sensible clothing, boots, no sandals..There is a lot of uneven ground..Yes also the usual hazards, poison oak, thorns, and rattlesnakes.....You might not bring very small children.
This is one of my favorite photography areas..Around the pond you might see Otters, Herons, Egrets, and much more..There will also be fisherman so please respect the others enjoying the area!
