Eine Slipanlage dient dazu, Boote (aber auch Amphibienfahrzeuge) ins Wasser zu setzen. Diese spezielle Slipanlage ist ein wichtiges Hilfsmittel für die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Gössendorf, um ihr Boot in die Mur zu setzen (im Falle von technischen Hilfeleistungen sowie von Menschenrettungen).
Einige große Steine in unmittelbarer Nähe laden zum Sitzen und Verweilen ein.
Der Zugang ist nicht beschränkt, an warmen sonnigen Tagen tummeln sich viele Eidechsen, auch von Hundebesitzern ist die Gegend gern zum Ausgehen genutzt. ACHTSAMKEIT gilt natürlich trotzdem an einem Fluss, vor allem wenn er Hochwasser führt. Dank der Kraftwerke Gössendorf und Kalsdorf ist der Wasserspiegel in der Regel allerdings sehr konstant.
