This puzzle has a Minnesota-based theme, but was inspired by
(and is dedicated to) my two favorite Canadian cachers: Sam and Lily and teamtonin. Anyone who knows me (or peruses my
profile) already knows my other obsession besides caching, so it
was just a matter of time before this puzzle was born. :)
If you're solving this puzzle physically instead of electronically,
then the number you're looking for is the third of the six numbers,
between the hyphens, after 'ID#'. When I created it, I did it by
hand the old-fashioned way, because I actually didn't think this
information was available on the Internet. But as it turns out, the
info is just a few mouse-clicks away, so there are lots of ways to
solve this one with way less effort than I put into it!
Anyway, first figure out the theme and fill in the numerical values
in the table above. Then, get the actual coordinates for the cache
using the formula below:
N 44°
(C-O)-(B*F).(H-J)+(I-P)
W 093° (D-K)-(G/L).((N-E)*(E-M))+(G-A-F)
Location, Parking, and Access
There is free and legal parking nearby, but it's easier if you've
been here before. You're looking for a small lock 'n lock
container, which starts out with a few small trinkets and a couple
of cool trackables. Please push it all the way back in there when
you're done...thanks, and as always - have fun, and happy
hunting!
