Geocache Description:

"The Lighthouse"

The cache is placed close to the view-point above the amazing football field of Henningsvaer, next to a small "lighthouse" with a red roof.

"The Lighthouse"

The old lighthouse of Henningsvaer was built in 1856, and has bee inactive since 1935. It is 41 feet (12.5 meters) tall, and 75.8 feet (23.1 meters) above the high tide level. The Lighthouse is now privately owned but can be viewed from the view-point above the football stadium.

To reach the view-point and find the cache you will have to pass a lot of fish racks used for drying cod during springtime. The easiest way up on the hill is to find the small track from the football stadium. The cache is placed close to the view-point above the amazing football field of Henningsvaer, next to a small "lighthouse" with a red roof.
