OldManJack: I can understand some people who have never found this one having a little trouble with it, but when a previous finder can't find it, then it's time to take a close look. Well, I did and I can't find it either. I don't know if the city did some pruning here and removed the branch it was on, or some muggle saw it and took it for a souvenir. But whatever the case, I wasn't able to find it either, and I did some cache maintenance on it just a few months ago. So I guess it's time to archive one of the first micro caches in Hickory. At least it will open up the park for someone else to put a cache in here.

Coordinates are based on an average of 10 readings within a 16' accuracy range on my GPSr.

Placement of this cache is based on my experiences searching the elusive caches placed by the Geocache Master, WE4NCS, in Raleigh. The container is courtesy of my geocache buddy JackcacheNC. The girls added to the challenge by selecting the final location.This is a very small container, hidden a non-traditional manner. It is designed to be difficult, but not impossible. BRING YOUR OWN PEN OR PENCIL to sign the log. Please pay attention to how the log is placed in the container. You do not have to remove from the location to access the log, just twist counter-clockwise.You will not have to cross the creek to find this one. Remember why we play: as WE4NCS says, "HAVE FUN, ENJOY THE ADVENTURE!"
