Stop 9: "Weir" by Genny Killin
Artist's Statement: Weir is the sixth installation in Scot’s Bay of the What Was Left Behind series started in 2013. This series references artifacts of social history as its starting point. Each piece has been a visual reminder of what was once common and is now gone. Just as the debris of history appears and disappears over time, so too these installations appear and disappear.
