Sometimes when you are caching, you see strange and unusual things. Like cyborg trees.
There have been several times I have come across what looked like old car accidents. Shotgun blasts in trees and signs - was there someone between the gun and the tree? Sometimes, after you get back home, you can't shake that strange feeling. You begin to wonder about your house. Did something follow me out of the woods? Is there a ghost in my house? How do I know? There must be certain ways to find out.
After coming to the final location of this cache, I had a series of incidents that make me get all pale thinking about them.
On my way back north, to my home in Oregon, three times during the trip I thought I actually saw a ghost. Three times! At this point, I started seeing shadows out of the corner of my eye, but nothing was there when I turned. It felt like someone was watching me! My wife was raised as a good Catholic, so she suggested we could try an exorcism, but I held out for other ideas. I wanted to talk to more people to get ideas.
We took a trip west, to Klamath Falls to visit friends and discuss the strange things that were going on. While we were talking, our kids started calling us. They noticed lights were turning off and on. They pointed out that doors were opening on their own. Our friends suggested using a Ouija Board to try to talk to the possible ghost and see if it had followed me home from the woods. In the end, we called an paranormal investigation group.
Maybe you will see us on television some day!
