Meczet w Gdańsku - jest obecnie jednym z sześciu czynnych meczetów w Polsce oraz jedynym posiadającym minaret. Działa on w ramach Muzułmańskiej Gminy Wyznaniowej w Gdańsku, która jest jedną z ośmiu gmin w kraju. Meczet znajduje się w dzielnicy VII Dwór przy ulicy Abrahama 17a.
Akt erekcyjny pod budowę wmurowano w 1984 roku. Samą budowę świątyni ukończono w 1990 roku. Prace trwały sześć lat, a w efekcie powstał trzeci meczet w kraju, a zarazem pierwszy murowany. Nosi on imię poety i filozofa, twórcy panislamizmu - Dżamala ad-Dina Al-afganiego. Modlitwy odprawia się pięć razy dziennie: przed wschodem słońca, w południe, po południu, po zachodzie słońca i wieczorem. Obowiązek modlitwy dotyczy wyznawców od dziesiątego roku życia. Obiekt jest udostępniony do zwiedzania wyłącznie w dniach otwartych, a wstęp jest dozwolony pod okiem opiekuna. Od wszystkich zwiedzających wymaga się zdjęcia butów przed wejściem sali modlitwy, a od kobiet dodatkowo skromnego stroju, ale bez konieczności zasłaniania włosów.

A Mosque in Gdansk - is one of six active mosques in Poland, and the only one with a minaret. It belongs to the Islamic Religious Community in Gdansk, which is one of eight in the country.
The construction of the foundation act was laid in 1984. The very construction of the temple was completed in 1990. The work lasted six years, and as a result was the third mosque in the country, and the first made of brick. It is named after the poet and philosopher, the founder of pan-Islamism - Jamal ad-Din al-afgani. Prayer is celebrated five times a day: before sunrise, noon, afternoon, after sunset and in the evening. The property is open to the public only on open-days, and admission is allowed under the supervision of a guardian. All visitors are required to take off shoes before entering the prayer room, and the women are required to wear modest attire, but without the necessity to cover their hair.
