Around the World in 80 Clicks Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

thebuttonmushroom: I think it's time to call it a day on this one. Shortly after being replaced the cache disappeared again - all I found was the lid. Very close nearby there is construction work underway and I can't help but feel that this cache will be unsafe to remain here, even if it's replaced again.

Due to a puzzle that constantly needs updating and a logging method that cannot be enforced, I've decided now to focus my energies on creating new caches elsewhere and freeing up the area for others to use. [:)]

Thanks to all those who found it, and especially those who signed the log as intended - I hope you enjoyed doing this one!

Geocache Description:

You will need to make good use of your computer in order to claim this cache!

Technically this cache is a multi, but I really do not expect even the most hardcore of cachers to actually go and visit every location. Kudos to you if you do!

There are ten locations to visit and the coordinates for all these locations are given in the waypoints below. The cache is hidden somewhere in Fair Oak and the location may ring a bell if you've been caching for a while. There is no need to visit the published coordinates above; to obtain the real cache coordinates, "visit" the locations below and answer the questions to get the digits you need.

The cache is hidden at N 50° AB.CDE W 001° FG.HIJ.

About the cache itself
Now that you should have some coordinates for the final cache location, there are a couple of other things to note before you go get it. Firstly, there is parking available a few feet away from GZ. You may want to take the cache back to the car to sign as it will arouse less suspicion. Also, please note the "Special Tool Required" attribute and reapply the first line of the cache description before you head out the door! Remember that geocaching always has its hazards - in this case it's trade items (!). Only take something if you are sure you er, won't catch a cold from it! If you would rather, there's a traditional log there for you to sign instead. I hope you enjoy this cache. Please be sure to reseal the log's plastic bag to keep it dry and rehide the cache in a quiet moment.

I'm afraid I can't take credit for the cache design, but the multi-style puzzle came out of my head. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has done something similar in the past though.

This cache was inspired by the well-known geocacher Sven, who sadly died a few days after this cache was placed. RIP.
