STEP#1: We admit we were powerless over our desire to geocache
STEP#2: Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could lead out to the next cache (love thy gps’r)
STEP#3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to finding that elusive cache even if just for a moment in time.
STEP#4: Made a searching and frantic search of the inventory to make sure that we have all the trackables ready to go
STEP#5: Admitted to ourselves and to other cachers that we too could not find the “cache”
STEP#6: Were entirely ready to give up and noticed that there is one more place that we did not look
STEP#7: Humbly asked another cacher for a hint to that cache that has been on the DNF for too long
STEP#8: Made a list of all caches that we could not find but are willing to go back and look again for and a second list of the caches that we are going to find in one day and When placing or seeking geocaches, I will Not endanger myself or others, Observe all laws & rules of the area, Respect property rights and seek permission where appropriate, Avoid causing disruptions or public alarm, Minimize my and others' impact on the environment, Be considerate of others, Protect the integrity of the game pieces.
STEP#9: Made direct routes to minimize the time spent on the trail and would lead to the most finds in one day
STEP#10: Continued to log each find and trackable
STEP#11: Sought through quiet moments and reflection of where the cache could be, we are now armed with the knowledge of where to look for “that” cache.
STEP#12: Having had a AHA moment as where the cache was and carrying this knowledge to other caches we promise to continue to cache.
