This is an offset cache in Campgaw Reservation. Park is open
during daylight hours.
This cache can be approached from any of the parking lots using
the trail system. Round trip hiking distance and terrain will vary
depending upon lot chosen. The first stage can be reached via the
Red Trail.
First Stage: (Keystone)
Upon nearing GZ you will be looking for the keystone. Remove the
keystone and find the 'key' (small Rubbermaid). The keystone is
easily removed and replaced. Only one rock the size of your hand
has to be moved. Please use care as not to disturb the area.
With ‘key’ and coordinates in hand make your way to
the Pulpit. You will need to BRING THE ‘KEY’ TO THE
SECOND STAGE it will unlock the final stage. YOU WILL ALSO BE
REQUIRED TO RETURN THE ‘KEY’ TO THE KEYSTONE AFTER
COMPLETING FINAL STAGE!
Final Stage: (Pulpit)
The final stage will require a bushwack and is about 200 yards
from the first stage. The area is fairly open woods and an easy
walk. The cache is a plastic ammo container. When you locate the
cache, use the 'key' to unlock the secondary lid. Please DO NOT
FORCE the container open, when used correctly the 'key' will do the
job. PLEASE REMEMBER TO RETURN THE ‘KEY’ TO THE
KEYSTONE!
This is my first attempt at a hide, all comments are welcome.
The cache is stocked with a FTF prize as well as other trade
items.
Please don't post pictures of the stages and take care to
re-hide as found.
