Geocache Description:

Cache is located at 6150 feet in elevation in a semi-arid desert setting. Watch for critters of all types.

Micro container with a log only. BYOP!

This cache was placed to give the folks who attend the BLM event in August of 2011 a chance to rustle in another smiley. It will stay in place after that too.
This cache is called Mustang Run as it is placed close to a trail built by some local cowboys so they can gather their horse herd off of the surrounding mountains where they have spent the late fall and winter foraging on their own and being wild. It allows them to funnel them into a spot they can load them up. If you proceed a few hundred feet past the point where you had to stop your vehicle you’ll come across this trail built from branches and rocks and worn down by years of use. The local cowboys belong to one of the biggest ranches in Moffat County and it is the biggest contiguous land holding in Moffat County. The horses are rented out at dude ranches and hunting camps and some have even been movie stars.
Have Fun!! cocoalminer and utwildflower
