Geocache Description:

***The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.***

Ok, so I decided to up the anty a little bit. We have all seen those Month Challenges popping up around the state. Some people qualify right away, others need to go out and find some more caches. So once you have completed all 12 of these challenges then you can come and sign the log for this one. It is that simple. Find a Minnesota cache placed on all 366 days of the year. Find and log all 12 month challenges and then find and log this challenge. Good luck.

FAQ:

  1. What counts and what doesn't? Caches that have physical logs, i.e. traditionals, multi's, puzzles, and letterbox hybrids but not virtuals, events, earthcaches, webcams, or locationless caches.
  2. Why just Minnesota?Because you should be proud of the state you cache in.
  3. How about Wisconsin? Go ahead and place a "12 Month Blackout Challenge - WI". If we did that for each state and each month we'd have 650 new caches!
  4. How about using find dates rather than placed dates? Wow! That'd be 1300 new caches.
  5. Do prior finds count? Yes, but that's not as big of an advantage as it might seem.
  6. What are the logging requirements? In either order, you have to find and sign the log at the posted coordinates and you have to either bookmark or email a list of the GCXXX for your 366 finds, each of which must have been found and logged by you personally. Or you can take the easy route and just list the 12 Month Challenges and when you found them. After you've done both you may claim the find.
  7. What if I own one of the Month Challenges? You don't need to find and log your cache, but you must complete your challenge before you can go after this cache.
  8. How can I easily obtain the placements dates of caches I've found? One way is to scan the "All Cache Finds" list for your profile.
  9. How do I find caches according to their placement date? One way is to scan through caches listed for Minnesota. These are arranged by placement date. You might need to go back through the years.
  10. What if I've more questions? Just ask. Anything significant that's been overlooked will be listed and dated here.

Check out all the different month challenges. And collect your own: January, February, March, April, April, May, June, July, September, October, November, December.
