Hop and skip on the Ramanessin Trail to this bison tube hide! No jump required, but perhaps 10 seconds of uphill climbing from the trail. This cache is located in the Ramanessin section of Holmdel Park, acquired in 2001. The Ramanessin Brook is identified on some maps as the Hop Brook, but they are one and the same. During fall through early winter, this area may be zoned for archery deer hunting; take notice of hunting signs and wear orange if possible!

Off-road bicycling is allowed on the trails of the Ramanessin section, but be careful not to ride off the ravine. The southern end of the Ramanessin section connects to Bayonet Farm and the Ramanessin Greenway Nature Trail -- both are Holmdel Township parks with caches.
