Located in the old heart of Road Town, the Tortola TB hotel is right opposite the ferry port where ferries arrive and depart from the neighboring islands, and is within walking distance of the cruise ship pier.
Located in the historical Sir Olva Georges Plaza (named after the first BVIslander to be knighted in 1971), the square was used as a central trading area in the 1940’s and continues to be the home of the local farmers market on a Saturday morning.
Right opposite the square sits the original Post office built in the 1800’s, with its iconic blue shutters and now abandoned. The BVI has an interesting philatelic history and is one of the few countries in the world whose stamps feature both the queen’s head and US currency.
This medium sized container will happily fit smaller TB’s & geo coins.
