Last Event of the Year - Part II Event Cache

WHAT: Attend your last event of 2018.

WHY: DUHHH... food, fun, friends, fire, and a souvenir.

WHEN: Monday, December 31, 2018,  between 4pm & 6pm.

WHERE: Mechanicsburg Parks & Recreation Picnic Pavilion. 1731 S York St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055

WHO: Anyone that wants to celebrate the end of a year of Geocaching with an event. It’s outside, it’ll be cold and dark, but we’re geocachers... we can do this...!!!

So come on out and meet TheLF from Florida and chat with a bunch of your local geocachers, tell us about your geocaching adventures in 2018. Vertumnis & MrsV are bringing a camp stove, and we will have hot apple cider and hot cocoa available to enjoy and hopefully keep you warm. FYI... A fire ring is available for our use, so we plan to have a toasty campfire... That means if you’d like to bring something to roast on an open fire (hot dogs, brats, marshmallows, etc) feel free to do so. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed... just in case you were wondering. Let’s keep it family friendly for sure. As we can not predict the weather, should there be snow on the ground, come prepared just in case. I know there are some snow lovers out there somewhere...LOL.   I’ll also have a few door prizes to give away. Happy New Year everyone...!

In addition, you will earn a new souvenir. Earn the Thanks 2018 souvenir by finding any geocache or attending an event on December 31, 2018.

I’ll be bringing some TB’s along from Florida, and would be happy to take some of yours back south with me. I’ll have a small collection of TBs and coins that you can discover as well.
