I like to make people aware of little know historical sites and
here’s another one. You can find parking in the military museum or
Mt Nittany Middle School either way it’ll be a little walk
I was told by my father that this structure was the smaller of two
walls and was used by the local militia to hone their handgun
skills. I have not found the larger wall; sadly, that one was
possibly lost to the road construction when they brought the bypass
through, but it was used as the rifle range. If you’re lucky you
might find a used projectile.
Stand at the left front corner and site a line 200 from north and
head that way for approx 40 feet and find the cache.
