Place: Old Town Puerto Vallarta (Que?Pasa - 625 Aquiles Serdan)

Purpose: Neighbourhood & River CITO

Come out and help clean up a local neighbourhood (CITO - Cache In Trash Out) and the banks along the Rio Cuale (Cuale River) in Old Town and earn a smiley and a CITO icon.

Meet up at Que?Pasa at 11:30 a.m. Bags will be provided (bring your own gloves).

NOTE:

Ask for Michael or Jackie and tell them you are there to help. We leave promptly at 11:30 a.m.

Saturday, June 19th 2010, was the inauguration of Que?Pasa's sponsorship of a weekly neighbourhood clean-up by local children called La Brigada de la Basura - The Trash Brigade (click)

Every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. the neighbourhood children are invited to meet at Que?Pasa. They get a trash bag and latex gloves; then with adult supervision, they walk through the local streets picking up every piece of trash they can find on the streets and sidewalks. The route ends up back at Que?Pasa where the children are rewarded with grilled hot-dogs, chips, soft drinks, a child oriented movie, a small bag of sweets and a small toy.
