Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to my note I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

An easy cache to walk to from both end of the woods it depends on where you park. In in the early part of the year the search will be much easier than July onwards due to the growth of the vegetation, The hiding place is tricky and you will have to think outside the normal under twigs or stones. I have noted that flowers can be trampled by cachers looking for this cache. There are lots of wild flowers but only May and June until the bracken takes over,

Terrain difficulty around the cache would be 5 in July through to October. Approaching from the south it could be a bit muddy in the winter at the bottom end.From the northern end it is well drained.The cache very is well hidden. it is not a micro. the container is a plastic round about 2 inches in diameter and about 4 inches long. Jake the Snake is marked on the lid in black felt tip. There is only a log book and two pencils. Please put everything back as you found it so it will be the same level of difficulty for the next seekers. Thanks
