Lewes Town Tour
Since so many cachers have enjoyed previous Lewes tours, here is another one. This is a 6 stop multi-tour (including final) of the City of Lewes, which will take you to some interesting spots. It can be done by walking, bicycling, or driving. It is approximately 1 mile, one way, from start to finish, but can be done in any order. If you park at the suggested parking coords- Stage 3 (free parking) and walk or cycle, the round trip is 1.75 miles. Stage waypoints are included for direct download.
The Stages, in order, 1-5 are set up for a driving tour. Free parking is available at Stages 2, 3, & 6- but may be difficult during the summer season. If you are walking or cycling, park at Stage 3 and then proceed to Stages 4, 2, 1, and 5. The actual cache is approximately .5 mile from Stage 5 and also has free parking.
You will be looking for information from signs. Substitute the numbers for the letters into the coords listed for the final.

1. Posted/Stage 1- N38 46.532 W75 08.506 (Very limited parking)
OBC- Year it was moved to Church & Mulberry Streets. The second digit from the right = A.
2. Stage 2- N38 46.605 W75 08.566 (Generally free parking)
HRBH- He was twice elected to the US House of Representatives, serving from ???? (first year).
First digit on the right = B.
3. Stage 3- N38 46.666 W75 08.493 (Suggested free parking coords for walking or cycling)
LO- The year it was given to the Lewes Historical Society. The third digit from the right = F.
4. Stage 4- N38 46.635 W75 08.526
LCP- TOP SIGN- The number of letters in the word immediately after the "&" sign = D.
5. Stage 5- N38 46.438 W75 08.340 (Limited free parking)
ZW (1631)- The year the British took possession of the area. The first digit on the right = C.
ZW (1631)- The year William Penn named the town. The first digit on the right = E.
6. Stage 6/Final- N38 46.ABC W75 08.DEF (Free parking)
