There were too many easy caches in this area, so I had to place one that took more effort to grab. The parks department has since made it easier by placing a concrete path within 50 feet of the cache.
This cache was actually easy to find, but harder to get to than most in this park. When I placed the cache I saw two bunnies. One ran away as soon as he saw me. The other stayed where he was and I slowly walked within 30 feet of him. What creatures will you encounter? It is now an easy walking to within 50 feet of the cache. During those last 50 feet you will have the joy of avoiding thorns and PI. The container is covered in camo tape, but even the experienced cacher will not be able to see it from the trail. The satellite coverage diminishes as you get into the deep woods. That makes it a little more sporting. I check myself after going into deep woods like this. I didn't have any ticks after placing the cache, but they are possible in areas like this. Please replace the item holding the container in place.
